This blog exists to provide writers and schools a place to record their progress while taking part in the Creative Coaching writer residency programme.
To schools:
Each time the writer visits your school, please use this blog to record (in text, pictures or video)
1) What you found helpful and learned from the day
2) What the students responded best to
To writers and illustrators:
Each time you visit the school you are working with, please use this blog to record (in text, pictures or video) the key points that you hope the students got from their work that day.
This doesn't need to be a chore - be as creative as you wish, just make sure whatever you write is suitable for other teachers to learn from, and for you and others to use as a way of providing PD to members of staff.
The Book Council Education staff will interact with this blog from time to time, to help you elucidate your thoughts and ideas. I look forward to seeing some amazing work between writer, teacher and students.
